Geena Davis won an Oscar for her performance in 1989’s The Accidental Tourist, but if you’re like me you know her best from Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice. Variety caught up with Davis to talk about her new movie Marjorie Prime and when asked about action movies, she brought up a recent conversation she had with Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins.
“I met Patty Jenkins and I told her, ‘I’m sure you’re going to make a sequel and if you need anybody Amazonian, there’s always me. I’m available’,” Davis revealed.
Jenkins is holding out for a big payday before officially signing on for Wonder Woman 2. She feels she should be paid as much as a male director, and earlier this week it was reported that she’s close to signing a deal that would make her the highest-paid female director ever.
