It goes without saying saying that of 2017’s most anticipated comics is the upcoming Doomsday Clock. The 12 issue series from Geoff Johns and Gary Frank begins this November, following up on Rebirth‘s surprise revelation that Watchmen‘s Doctor Manhattan has been interfering with the DC Universe. No surprise, then, that the inclusion of characters from Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons’ groundbreaking series in the DCU proper is such a widely publicized event.
Earlier today, Geoff Johns shared the final lenticular cover for the premiere issue, and it’s pretty great.

Love that it evokes the Watchmen cover scheme so well, and perfectly utilizes Rorschach’s visual gimmick.
Doomsday Clock will hit comic shops and digital platforms November 22.
