Has Suicide Squad 2 finally found its director? According to Variety, The Accountant director Gavin O’Connor will write Suicide Squad 2, and The Hollywood Reporter says that he’ll direct the movie as well.
Variety says that due to the casts busy schedules (especially Will Smith’s), production on Suicide Squad 2 will likely begin in the fall of 2018. That will give O’Connor plenty of time to write the script. David Ayer reportedly had just weeks to work on the script for Suicide Squad.
