Margot Robbie is at the Toronto International Film Festival this weekend to promote her new movie, I, Tonya, and The Wrap caught up with her to ask when she’ll be suiting up as Harley Quinn again.
“I think next year I’ll be back in the fishnets wielding a baseball bat, I hope,” Robbie said. When asked if it would be for the Joker/Harley movie, Robbie replied “your guess is as good as mine at this point. I don’t know.”

Robbie is most likely talking about Suicide Squad 2, which just got a director in Gavin O’Connor and is expected to start shooting in the fall of 2018. The Joker and Harley Quinn movie is still in early development, and will likely follow Suicide Squad 2.
