Zack Snyder hasn’t been involved in ‘Justice League’, says it’d be “unfair” to Joss Whedon

Zack Snyder released an R-rated short film, Snow Steam Iron, on the mobile social network Vero today. Wired caught up with the director to talk about it and what else he’s been up to since stepping down from Justice League earlier this year after the tragic death of his daughter.

Snyder admitted that he hasn’t been involved in Justice League since walking away from the project. He said it’d be “unfair in a lot of ways” to get involved again after being off of the movie for so long. Instead, he trusts that new Justice League director Joss Whedon and his team will produce a solid movie.

“I’m at a place where I feel excited about it and I’m happy for my guys and I love these people that are working on it, and they’re my family and I think they’re doing an amazing job,” Snyder said. “But I’ve kind of just let them do their thing.”
