‘Flashpoint’ script turned in to Warner Bros., director meetings still ongoing

Earlier this year we learned that King Arthur: Legend of the Sword writer Joby Harold was working on a page-one rewrite of The Flash movie, which was announced at Comic-Con as Flashpoint. After at least 9 months of work, it seems like Harold has something that he’s proud .

Variety reporter Justin Kroll says that Harold turned in his Flashpoint script to Warner Bros. yesterday. Robert Zemeckis is still being considered to direct, though Kroll notes that Warner Bros. is still meeting with other directors and is in no rush to make any announcements.

If Flashpoint is anything like its comic book counterpart, it opens a whole bunch of possibilities in the DC Extended Universe, including the return of Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman.

The Joker script is also expected to be turned in to Warner Bros. this week.
