The strangest news about the Justice League reshoots that took place over the summer was that Henry Cavill wasn’t allowed to shave the mustache he grew for Mission: Impossible 6 (he was taking a break from that movie to come back for Justice League).
Instead, Warner Bros. will have to remove it digitally. As you can imagine, seeing Superman with a mustache was pretty funny for Cavill’s Justice League co-stars. Empire caught up with Ben Affleck and Jason Momoa to get their thoughts on Cavill’s Superman ‘stache.
“It was a full-on porn star mustache. He looked like a porn star from the ’70s, just with a better body. It’s a different twist on Superman,” Ben Affleck joked.
“Henry? Rest in peace. He’s working with Tom Cruise now. He’s doing alright,” Jason Momoa said in reference to Cavill’s Mission: Impossible role.
