Red Carpet News TV caught up with J.K Simmons at the London premiere of his new movie I’m Not Here. They had a lot of questions about his role as Commissioner Gordon in Justice League, as well as his future with Ben Affleck in The Batman.
Simmons explained that his role in Justice League is a “don’t blink or you’ll miss it” cameo, so we probably won’t see him outside of the roof top scene that’s appeared in the trailers. Simmons said that he just did ADR (additional dialogue recording) last week, so Warner Bros. is still hard at work on getting the movie ready for its November 17th release next month.
Simmons said he wasn’t involved in any of the reshoots with Joss Whedon that took place over the summer. But someone who he is excited to work with is Ben Affleck, who he already worked with before Justice League on The Accountant. Simmons is looking forward to seeing “weathered” versions of Batman and Gordon working together in The Batman.
