The Rock’s Black Adam movie is in talks with a comedy writer

Fast & Furious 6

Warner Bros.’ sister company New Line is getting ready to start filming Shazam early next year, and work on Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Black Adam movie isn’t too far behind it.

Tracking-Board is reporting that Adam Sztykiel is in talks to write Black Adam for New Line. Sztykiel is best known for writing comedies like Due Date, Alvin and the Chipmunks, and NBC’s Undateable, which aired from 2014 to 2016.

No director is attached to Black Adam at this time, but the movie will be produced by Johnson and Hiram Garcia of Seven Bucks Productions, and Beau Flynn of the Flynn Picture Company.
