In September, the first footage for Batman: Gotham by Gaslight hit the web, taken from the special features of Batman and Harley Quinn. Today, IGN premiered the first trailer!
Before even getting to the new footage, the Batman: Gotham by Gaslight trailer confirms that the movie will be rated R for “Some violence”. Check out the new trailer in the video above.
“Gotham by Gaslight” is a classic Batman comic that was published in 1989. Here’s a brief description from the Batman News review:
Originally published in 1989, Gotham by Gaslight tells the “What if” story of a 19th century Caped Crusader who comes face to face with the Butcher of Whitechapel. It’s Batman vs. Jack the Ripper written by Brian Augustyn and illustrated by none other than the creator of Hellboy, Mike Mignola.
