Ben Affleck is “contemplating” doing ‘The Batman’, wants to exit the role gracefully

The Ben Affleck Batman drama never stops.

In a new interview with USA Today, Ben Affleck said that doing The Batman with director Matt Reeves is “something I’m contemplating”. He added: “You don’t do it forever, so I want to find a graceful and cool way to segue out of it.”

It sounds like he’s not 100% on board for The Batman yet, which stinks, however if he wants to find a graceful way to exit the role, another movie after Justice League, such as The Batman, may be needed.

The question now is what that exit will look like? Do you just recast Affleck, who doesn’t appear to want to stick around for a Batman trilogy, or do you make one Batman movie with him and then recast the role?

Let me know what you make of Affleck’s new comments and how you’d handle this situation below.
