‘Justice League’ director Joss Whedon “likes” tweet bashing the movie’s villain

Joss Whedon joined Justice League as a writer in the middle of production, before taking over as a director when Zack Snyder had to step down. Perhaps if he was with the project the entire time we’d see a different villain in the movie…

Comic Book Movie noticed that Whedon has “liked” a tweet that bashes the Justice League villain, Steppenwolf. Batman News can confirm that it’s legit and still “liked” as of this morning. Here’s the tweet which Whedon “liked”:

Steppenwolf certainly wasn’t a great villain, but it’s unusual to see the movie’s writer/director support that kind of criticism. Especially right before opening weekend! What do you make of Whedon’s “likes”? Let me know in the comments below.
