Over the summer while promoting his movie Dunkirk, Christopher Nolan confirmed that he was personally working on 4K remasters of his movies, and now they’ve been officially announced!

A seven movie box set featuring Nolan’s most popular movies (The Prestige, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises, Inception, Interstellar, Dunkirk) will be released on December 19th for a retail price of $150. Fans who are just interested in 4K remasters of Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy can buy those three movies together in their own box set for $71.

“4K Ultra HD with HDR is an incredibly exciting new home video format that allows a much closer recreation of viewing the original film print,” said Christopher Nolan. “The deeper color palette comes closer to matching the analogue colors of film and we’ve restored the original theatrical mixes for this release. If you can’t rewatch these films in the theater, this is the best experience you can have in your own home.”
