‘Justice League’ gets beat by Disney’s ‘Coco’ in second box office weekend

Justice League came in second place at the box office this weekend. It brought in another $60 million, short of the $71 million that Disney’s Coco made. Justice League’s 10 day total is now $172 million, finally putting it past the $166 million that Batman v Superman made in its opening weekend.

Variety notes that Justice League is the worst performer among the recent DC movies. Batman v Superman was already at $260.4 million after its first 10 days. Man of Steel made $210 million, Wonder Woman grossed $206.3 million, and Suicide Squad took in $222.6 million in its first 10 days.

With the international box office factored in, Justice League has made $481.3 million so far worldwide.

It’ll be interesting to see if it can beat Man of Steel’s $668 million box office total before its box office run is over. Let me know if you think it’ll reach the $700 million mark in the comments below.
