Nightwing director Chris McKay hasn’t been shy about talking about the movie. He’s teased a badass action movie with minimal CGI, lots of nods to Dick Grayon’s past, and over the last few days he dropped a few more hints for fans on Twitter.
When asked when fans could expect some casting announcements, McKay said: “I would expect to be able to tell you more concrete info on our movies progress around February.” That’s right around corner!

And when the Detroit Film Critics Twitter account acknowledged his other superhero movie, The LEGO Batman Movie, McKay dropped a possible hint as to where Nightwing may be shooting. “As a fellow midwesterner I love Detroit. Hope to shoot there soon….,” he said.

Detroit was where a majority of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was filmed so it’d be great to see Nightwing shoot there too, if in fact that was the movie that McKay was hinting at in his tweet.
