In October, Jeffrey Dean Morgan smiled nervously when asked about playing Batman in Flashpoint. But this past weekend at Walker Stalker Con in New Jersey, the Walking Dead star made it clear that he wants to be part of the DC Films Universe.
“There’s a role in the DC Universe I’ve got my eye on,” Morgan said, when a fan asked if he’d ever consider doing theater acting.
In the Flashpoint comic, which the movie will likely be based on, Thomas Wayne (who Jeffrey Dean Morgan played in Batman v Superman) becomes Batman. Morgan has been teasing the role since the Flashpoint movie was announced at Comic-Con this past summer.
