Director shares ‘Justice League Dark’ concept art from failed Warner Bros. pitch

Warner Bros. has wanted to make a Justice League Dark movie for a while now. They still want to, as evident by WB putting its logo on the screen at San Diego Comic-Con among other big events. Now we have concept art from a failed 2015 pitch.

Director Joseph Kahn is probably best known for his music videos for artists like Taylor Swift and Britney Spears, but he’s done a couple feature films as well. Ironklad Studios shared concept art that Kahn had them do for a Justice League Dark pitch to Warner Bros. based on a script by Guillermo Del Toro. Khan shared the artwork on Twitter last night.

Kahn said that the actors in the artwork were just on his wishlist, but he had Dan Stevens as Constantine, Natalie Dormer as Zatanna, and Chiwetel Ejiofor as Jason Blood. You can also see his concept art for Swamp Thing, Deadman, and Floronic Man in the gallery below.

Warner Bros. rejected the idea, and are still working on bringing Justice League Dark to the big screen.
