Earlier this month, Margot Robbie said that she was working on a new Harley Quinn movie that wasn’t Gotham City Sirens. And with Gotham City Sirens not promoted at Comic-Cons this year like other DC movies, fans have wondered if the movie was still happening.
Collider caught up with director David Ayer, and when asked what the status on Gotham City Sirens was he simply replied “it’s in development”.
Just because a movie is in development doesn’t mean it will actually get made. We know that Warner Bros. is kicking around several Harley Quinn movie ideas, including one with The Joker and the newest one that Margot Robbie talked about recently. Not all of them will get made, so we’ll have to wait and see if they decide to move forward with Gotham City Sirens.
