Today is the 10th anniversary of the death of Heath Ledger. The news of his sudden passing shocked the world in 2008, particularly the Batman community. Ledger was set to star in The Dark Knight later that summer, and he did, giving one of the best comic book movie performances of all time. His role as The Joker earned him a posthumous Oscar.
