Tom Cruise, Henry Cavill, Simon Pegg, and Rebecca Ferguson were guests on The Graham Norton Show yesterday to promote their upcoming movie, Mission: Impossible – Fallout. Pegg told a funny story about a car chase stunt they were doing over the course of multiple takes.
After being sick of being in a cramped car, Cavill decided to get some fresh air and run back to the stunt’s starting point, rather than ride in the car with everyone else. Pegg said that he and Cruise would sing the classic Superman theme song to Cavill as they were driving by him.
“It’s one of the coolest moments of my life, having Tom Cruise do that while driving next to you,” Cavill said of the funny on set moment. Check it out in the video above.
The first Mission: Impossible – Fallout trailer will debut next weekend during the Super Bowl. Hopefully it includes the extreme stunt that Cavill took part in, which was apparently one of the reasons why Paramount wouldn’t allow him to shave his mustache for the Justice League reshoots.
