At long last, Batman ’66 has returned. After being nearly absent from the comic stands and news since last July’s team-up with the Legion of Super-Heroes, the next appearance of everyone’s favorite Caped Crusader has finally been revealed, and it couldn’t be more perfect: Batman is going to meet Archie.
While plot details are scarce, SyFy Wire have an exclusive first look at the series, including a few variant covers from the likes of Ty Templeton and Derek Charm. As far as the creative team goes, longtime Batman ’66 scribe Jeff Parker will be joined by Michael Moreci on scripting duties, and legendary Archie penciler Dan Parent will provide the visuals. From the looks of it this is shaping up to be a one-shot as opposed to a miniseries, but we’ll keep you posted with news as we hear it.
