The big fight between Batman and Superman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice almost took place at a different location.
A fan on Twitter shared a photo of some concept art (pictured above) that he saw at the DC Exhibition in the UK. He tagged director Zack Snyder and cinematographer Larry Fong, and Fong replied. “We originally planned on filming there but then were told the buildings were going to be demolished.”
The building in the concept art is the Park Avenue Hotel in Detroit, Michigan. It was indeed demolished in 2015. You can watch it implode in the video below.
