Update: Less than 24 hours after this announcement, Ben Affleck’s panel at Fan Expo Dallas has been canceled.
Fan Expo Dallas announced today that Batman v Superman and Justice League star Ben Affleck will be attending their event this weekend. Affleck is scheduled to appear on Saturday, April 7th for autographs, photo ops, and “Ben Affleck Live” where he will take the stage to talk about his career and hopefully answer some Batman questions.
Gal Gadot and Henry Cavill made headlines for charging fans $350 for an autograph and photo last year, but Affleck will be even more expensive. An autograph will cost you $250, a photo is another $250, or you can go for the $600 “Ultimate Ben Affleck Package” which includes an autograph, photo, and gold ticket to Ben Affleck Live.
This will be Affleck’s first public fan appearance since Justice League and the rumors that Matt Reeves has met with Jake Gyllenhaal about starring in The Batman. Hopefully he can set the record straight on his future as the Dark Knight.
DALLAS (April 2, 2018) – Fan Expo Dallas – the largest comics, sci-fi, horror, anime and gaming event in Texas – has announced Ben Affleck will make a rare convention appearance at this year’s event at the Dallas Convention Center, April 6-8, 2018.
Affleck is known for his recurring role as Batman in recent DC films such as “Justice League,” “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” and “Suicide Squad.” In addition to his role as billionaire Bruce Wayne, Affleck also starred in “Daredevil” as Matt Murdock. Other film credits include leading roles in “Chasing Amy,” and “Armageddon,” as well as directing the critically-acclaimed film “Argo.”
Affleck will greet fans, pose for photo ops (including a team up with his “Justice League” co-star Jason Momoa) and sign autographs during the star-studded event. Additionally, Fan Expo Dallas will offer a special ticketed Ben Affleck LIVE event happening Saturday, April 7 at 7 p.m. Tickets for Ben Affleck LIVE start from $25.
