Wonder Woman 2 is expected to start production this summer. We’ve already learned that Kristen Wiig has joined the cast as the villain, and now we’re hearing about where the movie will be shooting as well.
According to Guide To Canary Islands, Wonder Woman 2 will be shooting at Tenerife, the largest of the seven Canary Islands in Spain. Tenerife officials confirmed that their island has been chosen for outdoor filming due to the island’s diverse natural landscapes.
Judging from the photo above, it looks like it’d fit in nicely for Themyscira, the paradise island we were introduced to in the first movie. Italy was Themyscira in Wonder Woman, and it’ll be interesting to see if the sequel goes back there as well.
Wonder Woman 2 will film this summer, it hits theaters on November 1, 2019.
