Back in February, Justice League director Zack Snyder had the perfect response to a fan who asked if he had seen the deleted scenes from the movie. “First off I shot them,” Snyder replied sarcastically. In a new post on Vero, Snyder shared an epic shot of Batman from Justice League that didn’t make it into the final cut of the movie.

“First of all… I shot it,” Snyder said as he shared the Batman photo above. This was actually released by Warner Bros. just a week or so before Justice League hit theaters. But this cool shot was nowhere to be seen in the actual movie. Instead, we got the the shot below. A tarp was in the frame, and when it moved, Batman was blurry and out of focus.

Warner Bros. going with the shots above instead of the clearer version that they and Snyder shared is just another strange decision they made on Justice League.
