Today is Gal Gadot’s 33rd birthday, and to celebrate Justice League director Zack Snyder shared a new photo of a deleted scene on Vero.
We’ve heard about backstories being cut for Cyborg, Aquaman, and The Flash, likely to trim the movie down to the two hours that Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara demanded, but this new photo appears to show that some of Wonder Woman’s backstory didn’t make the theatrical cut either.
In Justice League, we see Queen Hippolyta shoot an arrow from Themyscira and it lands in a temple. That was her way of warning Wonder Woman that danger was coming, and it appears that Wonder Woman actually goes to that temple in a deleted Justice League scene.
This is just another scene that we can add to the long list that didn’t make the theatrical cut of Justice League. The Blu-ray only included two deleted scenes, both involving Superman.
