FOX just announced that they will renew Gotham for a fifth and final season. According to Deadline, the final season will “focus on Bruce Wayne’s transformation into the caped crusader”.
“The fifth and final season will wrap up this unique origin story of the great DC Comics Super-villains and vigilantes, which revealed an entirely new chapter that has never been told,” Gotham producers said in a statement.
Gotham’s season 4 finale will air this Thursday, May 17th. The producers have teased it as a “reboot” for the series, so it’s great that fans of the show will get a proper final season (and ending) next year.
