Do you remember how great it was when Batman met Elmer Fudd? If you don’t, go back and read it because it was amazing. Tom King and Lee Weeks told a story that was equal parts crime noir and tongue-in-cheek farce and it worked beautifully.
Today, DC Comics have announced a new line of DC/Looney Tunes crossover comics that will debut this fall, and no less than three of them feature Batman-centric characters. We’ll see Harley Quinn meet Gossamer, Catwoman join Sylvester on his hunt for Tweety Bird, and the Joker no doubt try to horribly murder Daffy Duck. Should be fun.
