Twitter user @DanielRPK has a reputation for tweeting about DC movie news before it’s officially announced. He did it with Ava DuVernay directing New Gods and he did it with Steven Spielberg working on a DC project. With his latest tweet, he may have done it again.
@DanielRPK didn’t say anything this time. Instead, he simply tweeted a photo of Hawkman and Hawkgirl. Based on his previous teases, it’s safe to assume that he’s hinting at a movie featuring the two heroes.
Falk Hentschel and Ciara Renee played Hawkman and Hawkgirl for The CW shows like Arrow, The Flash, and Legends of Tomorrow. They haven’t appeared since 2016, though. And as we know when Warner Bros. has plans for characters in movies, they usually don’t like them being on TV too. They famously made Arrow put an end to their versions of the Suicide Squad and Deathstroke, and we recently learned that they won’t allow Gotham’s version of The Joker to be called “Joker” or have green hair.
