Patty Jenkins has already said that the sequel to Wonder Woman won’t be called Wonder Woman 2, but that’s what everyone is calling it until we get an official title. Thanks to some new domain names that Warner Bros. recently registered, we may have some clues as to what the movie will be called.
According to Domain Name Wire, Warner Bros. registered a bunch of Wonder Woman related domain names this week. Based on those domains, some possible Wonder Woman 2 titles could be Wonder Woman Arrives, Wonder Woman Cheetah, Wonder Woman Lives, Wonder Woman Minerva, Wonder Woman Returns or Wonder Woman Rises. Patty Jenkins has said she doesn’t think of the sequel as “Wonder Woman 2” because it’s not really a sequel to the first movie. It’s just a standalone, new Wonder Woman adventure. So we can probably rule out Wonder Woman 2 ever becoming the official title.
