Wonder Woman 2 begins filming in Washington D.C. this month, and star Gal Gadot has arrived to the nation’s capital.
Gadot posted a video to her Instagram Story tonight which showed that she was hanging out at the National World War II Memorial. It’s not clear if a scene will be shot here or if she was just doing some sightseeing before actual filming begins. The Washington Monument can be seen in the background and is no stranger to superhero movies. It was featured in a big action scene in Spider-Man: Homecoming last year. Check out Gadot’s video below.
In addition to filming in the Washington D.C. area, Wonder Woman 2 will film at Landmark Mall in Alexandria, Virginia, which isn’t too far from DC. The movie starts shooting very soon (if it hasn’t already) and will be released on November 1, 2019.
