It’s been almost two years since Rocksteady released their last video game, Batman: Arkham VR. Fans have been patiently waiting for what’s next, and there were some very exciting rumors leading up to E3 this year. Rocksteady was rumored to announce a Superman game, but E3 kicked off earlier this week and Rocksteady was nowhere to be found.
Rocksteady game director and co-founder Sefton Hill took to Twitter to release a statement for fans who were disappointed by Rocksteady’s absence at E3. “We know some of you were disappointed that we were not at E3 this year,” Hill said. “The whole team has been reading your comments, and all of us here at Rocksteady really appreciate your passion for our next project.”
“Knowing how much it means to you keeps us inspired and energized to deliver a game that you will be proud of,” Hill added. “We’ll share it with you as soon as it’s ready.”
