‘The Flash’ director hints that it’ll be out in 2020 “if all goes well”

The Flash has been in development with multiple directors for years now. Game Night directors John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein are the latest to sign on to the project, and in a tweet today Daley explained when fans can expect to see it in theaters.

A fan on Twitter asked Daley when his next movie will be out, and Daley replied “if all goes well, sometime in 2020”. While he didn’t specifically mention The Flash, that is expected to be the next movie that he’s working on.

Warner Bros. has already announced two dates in 2020 for DC Comics movies, though they didn’t say which ones. The first will be out on Valentine’s Day, February 14th. My guess is that will be Birds of Prey, which starts shooting early next year. The next will be out in the summer on June 5th. Obviously dates can change, but my guess is that June date will be for The Flash if “all goes well” as Daley hinted at.
