Yesterday the roster for Margot Robbie’s Birds of Prey was revealed. Additionally, we learned that the villain would be a Batman villain that hasn’t been in a movie before. Now according to new details, we know which Batman villain almost made it in.
The Wrap reporter Umberto Gonzalez, who broke the Birds of Prey news yesterday, says that The Penguin was originally the villain in the movie. Now he’s teasing that The Penguin will show up in another DC movie, and it’s probably The Batman.
Back in May, Variety reporter Justin Kroll said that The Penguin was being considered for either Birds of Prey or The Batman. And since today’s news says that he will not be in Birds of Prey, The Batman seems like the movie he’ll end up in.
