Zack Snyder will not attend San Diego Comic-Con, his rep confirms

Zack Snyder / Vero

Since last year, some fans have been campaigning for Warner Bros. to release Zack Snyder’s original cut of Justice League. San Diego Comic-Con kicks off this week, and if Warner Bros. had any plans to announce something like the Snyder Cut, this would be the place to do it.

And on Sunday, fans got excited when Snyder posted on Vero that he was at a hotel in Coronado, California… just about 15 minutes from the San Diego Convention Center where Comic-Con takes place. “He must be making an appearance at SDCC to announce the Snyder Cut,” they had hoped. But he will not be.

ComicBook.com reached out to Snyder’s representative to see if he was attending San Diego Comic-Con and the answer was “no”. With no appearance from Snyder, chances of Warner Bros. announcing the release of the Snyder Cut at Comic-Con are slim to none.

But fans may have an answer later this week when The Wall Street Journal publishes their article about the Snyder Cut. We know they spoke to fans for the piece, and I’d be shocked if they didn’t get an official comment from Warner Bros. or even Zack Snyder as well.
