‘Wonder Woman 1984’ exclusive San Diego Comic-Con footage description

Warner Bros. showed off footage from Wonder Woman 1984, Shazam, and Aquaman at San Diego Comic-Con last weekend. Only the trailers for Aquaman and Shazam were officially released online, but Superhero News host Sean Gerber was in Hall H and has a breakdown of that exclusive Wonder Woman 1984 footage.

The Wonder Woman 1984 footage was very rough and unfinished because the movie has only been shooting for a few weeks, but director Patty Jenkins was happy to share it with the Comic-Con crowd. It starts off with a little girl in awe of Wonder Woman inside a mall. We hear gunfire, and Wonder Woman pushes the girl out of the way (into a giant teddy bear) and disarms the armed thugs. She then takes them both down with her Lasso of Truth.

The footage then cut to a shot of Wonder Woman running down the street, perhaps from the set videos that we saw a few weeks ago. Check out the video above for more details on the exclusive Wonder Woman 1984 San Diego Comic-Con footage.

Unfortunately it’ll be a while before we get to see any footage from Wonder Woman 1984. If I had to guess, I’d say Warner Bros. will have the first trailer ready to be played with Aquaman this December.
