We had heard that the villain in Birds of Prey would be a Batman villain who hasn’t been in a movie before, and now we know who it is!
According to The Wrap, Black Mask will be the villain in Birds of Prey. The site also reported that the movie will feature Black Canary, Huntress, Renee Montoya, and a young Cassandra Cain, in addition to Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn. Birds of Prey is a passion project of Robbie’s, and she’ll also be serving as a producer.
The Penguin was reportedly the villain in an early version of the script, but he was scrapped and is now expected to show up in The Batman instead.
