Brenton Thwaites will play Dick Grayson in Titans, which hits the upcoming digital service “DC Universe” later this year. So far in all of the marketing, including last month’s first trailer, we’ve seen him in his Robin costume. But according to a new rumor, we may be seeing another one of his famous personas.
SuperBroMovies is reporting that while Dick Grayson will be Robin for most of Titans, he will take on the role of Nightwing before Season 1 ends. In the comics, Grayson takes on the identity of Nightwing to assert his independence, and as we saw in the Titans trailer (“f*ck Batman”), Grayson’s relationship with Batman is strained… to say the least.
