With the new Batman prequel TV series Pennyworth reportedly filming in November, they will need to cast a young Alfred soon. Thanks to new audition videos that surfaced online, we may know how young Alfred will be on the show.
Geeks WorldWide spotted audition videos (that have since been removed) from 27-year-old British actor Tom Brittney. The videos revealed that Alfred must secretly infiltrate the Wayne household and abduct Thomas Wayne for an unknown villain.
Pennyworth comes from Gotham creator Bruno Heller, though it’s not connected to that show. It was picked up by the cable channel Epix and will likely premiere in 2019 or 2020 if production really does begin later this year.
