Earlier this month, reliable scooper @DanielRPK revealed that Warner Bros. made Lady Gaga and offer about three months ago to star in Birds of Prey with Margot Robbie. At the time, Gaga turned it down, but now it appears that she’s back at the negotiating table.

@DanielRPK, writing for SuperBroMovies, says that Warner Bros. has come back to Gaga, this time with a lot more money. They would really like to her to play either Black Canary or Huntress.

The main female cast members in Birds of Prey will be Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn, Black Canary, Huntress, Cassandra Cain, and detective Renee Montoya. Black Mask will be the villain.

It’ll be interesting to see if a bigger paycheck persuades Gaga to join Birds of Prey. There is a lot of buzz around her right now for her upcoming Warner Bros. movie A Star Is Born, which she stars in with Bradley Cooper.

Do you think Lady Gaga would be a good choice for Black Canary or Huntress? Let me know in the comments below.

Update: The Wrap reporter Umberto Gonzalez says there’s no truth to this report, so treat it as a rumor for now.
