If you’re like me, you probably consider the Batman v Superman warehouse fight to be the coolest Batman scene to ever appear in a movie. Now, over two years after its release, we’re still getting cool behind-the-scenes content of how that scene was brought to life.
Screen Rant spoke to Batman v Superman stunt coordinator and second unit director, Damon Caro, and shared an exclusive behind-the-scenes video. This scene was known as the “Martha Rescue” to the crew, and Caro said it was the very first scene that they shot for the movie. The video, which you can watch above, is a “stunt-viz”. It’s basically a rough version of a scene, complete with visual effects, to give everyone a chance to rehearse and understand what the final version will look like.
As you can see in the side-by-side video, it’s nearly identical to what we ended up seeing on screen. Check it out, and let me know what you thought of this behind-the-scenes look (and the scene in general) in the comments below.
