Discussing Film caught up with Todd Stashwick, who is co-writing Suicide Squad 2 along with director Gavin O’Connor and David Bar Katz. Stashwick had some exciting updates about the movie, like the fact that they’ve finished their draft of the script.
“We have finished our draft and I’m really proud of it,” Stashwick said. “It’s a sequel to the first film. Again, I can’t say anything else. Our intention is to tell an exciting story, deepening these characters.”
Suicide Squad 2 was going to start shooting towards the end of the year, but was pushed back in favor of Margot Robbie’s Birds of Prey.
