At the end of Justice League, we get a cool shot of the whole team together admiring their handy work after defeating Steppenwolf. Everyone looks great, except for maybe Henry Cavill with his digitally removed mustache.
Justice League director Zack Snyder shared a photo on Vero that he took during his time working on the movie, and it features a clean shaven Cavill. That’s a clear sign that this was from the original ending, and not the reshoots that most of the cast worked on with Joss Whedon after Snyder had to step away. Snyder said the photo was taken with a Leica M-D, a camera that he’s used before, like with the first look at Amber Heard from Justice League.
Snyder has shared multiple photos and stories about his original cut of Justice League since it came out last November. Just this week, he revealed that Ryan Choi, aka Atom, was originally going to appear in the movie. He was cut from the theatrical release.
