Justice League from Scott Snyder, Jorge Jimenez, and Jim Cheung has been one of DC’s most consistently enjoyable titles since it launched a few months back. With snappy dialogue, great characterization, and some of the best looking art in the business, Justice League should be near the top of your stack every two weeks if it isn’t already.
This fall, the League will crossover with the Aquaman title for the “Drowned Earth” arc, which has both ancient sea gods and alien mercenaries popping up to cause no end of trouble for the world’s greatest heroes. Not only that, but each issue of the story will feature a cover inspired by the upcoming Aquaman film, and the artists involved are truly an embarrassment of riches: Francis Manapul, Nicola Scott, Ben Oliver, and Francesco Mattina, just to name a few. Check out Manapul and Mattina’s covers below, along with more details about the crossover.
