Earlier today, we learned that former Marvel director James Gunn had signed on to write Suicide Squad 2, and that he was in talks to direct it as well.
Dave Bautista has played Drax in Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy movies, and has been Gunn’s biggest supporter since being fired by Disney/Marvel last summer after offensive tweets resurfaced. It appears that Bautista is ready to come over to DC with Gunn as well.
“Where do I sign up!,” Bautista said on Twitter in response to the news that Gunn was writing Suicide Squad 2.
