Over the weekend, Aquaman director James Wan shared two new photos featuring some of the giant sea creatures from Atlantis. The first, shows Patrick Wilson’s Orm riding a Tylosaur. The second shows Willem Dafoe’s Vulko on a giant hammerhead shark. Check them out in the gallery below.
Wan has stated in many interviews that he wants to embrace the campiness from the world of Aquaman, while putting cool and modern twists on it. These giant sea creatures are an example of that, as is Aquaman’s giant sea dragon in place of the silly seahorse he’s had in the past.
Aquaman is exactly two months away! It hits theaters on December 21st.
