Birds of Prey has added a major piece to its puzzle and announced that Ewan McGregor has joined the film as the villain Black Mask.
Black Mask has long been rumored as the villain for the upcoming DCEU film, but Deadline is now confirming the casting and the role, so it looks to be set.
While Black Mask is well-known in Batman fan circles, it’ll be interesting to see how general audiences react to him. Ewan McGregor is such a good actor, we’re sure he’ll bring plenty to the role.
Birds of Prey is quickly filling up with a lot of talent. Margot Robbie will be playing Harley Quinn once again and will be joined by Mary Elizabeth Winstead as the Huntress and Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary. Rosie Perez will be playing Renee Montoya, and it looks as though Orphan is joining the film as well, but no word yet on an actress for that role.
Birds of Prey hits theaters on Feb. 7, 2020.
