The hype building up to this season’s big Arrowverse crossover has been pretty huge. While the full plot of ‘Elseworlds’ is being kept under wraps, we do know part of the story will take place in Gotham and will feature Ruby Rose’s Batwoman. Since Gotham will be used as a backdrop there was at least a glimmer of hope Batman would make a cameo, even if it was highly unlikely. Arrow producer Marc Guggenheim is putting an end to that thought… bummer.
Despite Batman not making an appearance, the list of confirmed characters outside of the Arrowverse regulars is still pretty stellar with Batwoman, Psycho Pirate, Superman (rocking a black costume!), The Monitor, and hopefully more.
The Elseworlds crossover event will kick off on The Flash on Dec. 9, with Arrow continuing the story on Dec. 10, and Supergirl wrapping everything up on Dec. 11.
