Ezra Miller Promises Flash Movie Will Be “Crazy-Dope”

As of now, we have no idea when Ezra Miller’s solo Flash movie will hit theaters. But when it does, Miller promises the film will be “crazy-dope.”

The in-demand actor provided a small update in a new interview with Playboy, in which he also addresses those reports about Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck exiting the DC Universe.

“Nothing is ever certain in this world, but as certain as things get, we’re making a f*cking crazy-dope Flash movie,” Miller said when asked about the status of the film. “It’s one of my great life dreams, and just the fact that we’re on the way—anyone who knows about Barry Allen knows he may arrive late, very late, but once he gets there, it’s all solved. We have to trust.”

The Flash movie has been through a series of changes over the past few years. Both Rick Famuyiwa and Seth Grahame-Smith have been attached to direct. Now, John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein are developing the project, with production to begin in spring 2019.

As for those reports about Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck being replaced by other actors, Miller called the leaked information “pretty unreliable.”

Fans can catch Miller in the sequel to Fantastic Beasts, which is out now, before the actor (hopefully) suits up for his solo debut as Barry Allen in the next few years.

Before then, upcoming films in the DCEU include Aquaman (December 21), Shazam! (April 5, 2019), Joker (October 4, 2019), Birds of Prey (February 7, 2020), and Wonder Woman 1984 (June 5, 2020).
