It would seem that everything will be topsy-turvy in the Arrowverse when the Elseworlds crossover happens. The latest promo has Kara (Melissa Benoist) locked up in what appears to be the pipeline in S.T.A.R. Labs. (As everything seems mixed up in this universe, for all we know it is located somewhere else)
What’s surprising is that she is imprisoned by her sister, Alex (Chyler Leigh). Beyond the new hairstyle and a uniform we’ve never seen, there’s an intriguing symbol to be spotted on her vest.
Seeing as she’s telling Kara, “You are as despicable as they come, you are dangerous, and you are clearly crazy,” it’s doubtful she’s sporting that “S” to celebrate Supergirl. Set photos have seen Tyler Hoechlin sporting a black Superman costume. Could part of the storyline revolve around an evil version of the Man of Steel? Certainly seems like it.
With everything we’ve seen so far out of context the crossover is seeming a bit crazed, but we’re onboard as it sounds like a super fun three hours of TV.
The Elseworlds crossover kicks off on Dec. 9 and will run across The Flash, Supergirl, and Arrow.
